Welcome to Guided Escape. We’re committed to providing private, safe, and unforgettable adventure experiences around the world. These Terms of Service outline how our services work, what you can expect from us, and what we ask from you in return.
 
By using our website, booking a trip, or participating in any Guided Escape experience, you agree to the terms below.

 
 
 
1. About Guided Escape

 
 
We provide personalized, confidential adventures that may include trekking, outdoor activities, nightlife experiences, international travel, remote destinations, guided transportation, or other curated experiences.
Every itinerary is customized to your interests, comfort level, and goals.
 
Because of the nature of adventure travel, some locations may have limited access to emergency services, medical care, cell reception, or infrastructure. We will always take reasonable precautions, but some environments involve inherent risk.

 
 
 
2. Privacy & Confidentiality
 
 
We take privacy seriously.
All clients and guides are required to sign a Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before any trip.
 
The NDA protects:

 

  • your identity

  • your personal information

  • conversations

  • photos, videos, and media

  • trip details

  • sensitive or private situations

 
 
Your privacy is at the core of our service.

3. Travel Insurance (Required)
 
 
To participate in any Guided Escape experience, you must hold active travel insurance that includes:
 

  • Emergency medical coverage

  • Evacuation coverage

  • Trip interruption/cancellation coverage

 
 
We can arrange travel insurance for an additional fee if needed.
 
Failure to maintain travel insurance may result in cancellation of the trip.
 
 
 
4. Health & Fitness
 
 
We want you to have an incredible and safe experience.
Before your trip begins, you will complete a Medical Disclosure Form and provide accurate information regarding:
 

  • medical conditions

  • allergies

  • recent injuries or surgeries

  • medications

  • physical limitations

 
 
This information is kept confidential under the NDA.
 
Providing accurate information helps us plan safely and appropriately.
 
 
 
5. Emergency Contacts & Safety Protocols
 
 
You will also complete an Emergency Contact Form.
 
For remote-area trips, we follow a structured Missing Person Protocol, which includes:
 

  • time thresholds for determining a client overdue

  • guide response procedures

  • emergency escalation steps

  • coordination with local authorities

  • understanding that rescue costs from local agencies are the client’s responsibility

 
 
Safety is a shared responsibility.
 
 
 
6. Code of Conduct
 
 
Our goal is to create a memorable, respectful, and safe adventure for everyone involved.
 
We ask that clients:
 

  • Respect local cultures and communities

  • Follow guide instructions

  • Maintain self-control, especially during nightlife experiences

  • Avoid illegal substances

  • Behave respectfully toward guides, vendors, entertainment professionals, and locals

  • Engage responsibly in all activities

 
 
We reserve the right to end a trip without refund if a client’s behavior becomes dangerous or harmful.
 
 
 
7. Payments & Fees
 
 
Your payment reserves dates, guides, and vendors for your experience. Certain activities and reservations require upfront non-refundable payments to our global partners.
 
Specific trip costs and payment instructions are provided at booking.
 
 
 
8. Cancellation Policy
 
 
We follow a clear cancellation structure to protect both the client and our vendor relationships.
 
Within 72 hours of booking:
You may cancel with almost a full refund, minus any vendor costs already incurred.
 
After 72 hours:
Refunds depend on what vendors allow.
A $500 cancellation processing fee applies.
 
Within 60 days of the trip:
No refunds are issued.
Canceling late damages relationships with global vendors who reserve specialized time, equipment, permits, and services specifically for your experience.
 
Our full Cancellation Policy is available separately and is incorporated by reference.
 
 
 
9. Liability Waiver
 
 
Adventure travel involves inherent risks.
Before participating, you will sign a Liability Waiver acknowledging that:
 

  • certain activities involve risk of injury or death

  • remote environments may limit emergency access

  • you are responsible for your personal conduct

  • Guided Escape is not liable for injuries, accidents, or conditions beyond our control

 
 
The full waiver is provided before your trip.
 
 
 
10. Modifications to Itineraries
 
 
Weather, natural conditions, transportation issues, political environments, and vendor availability may require changes to the itinerary.
 
Guided Escape reserves the right to adjust routes, activities, or timing to keep the experience safe and viable.
 
 
 
11. Governing Law
 
 
These Terms are governed by the laws of Washington, USA.
